About DR CASA.
Building is the intersection between creativity and precision. Our story began a decade ago with a simple interest in renovating our duplexes. We later took on full gut renovations and developed the hands-on expertise that shaped who we are today and led us to create DR. CASA.

Behind The Work.
Daniel Pattillo, owner and general contractor, studied business in New Orleans. After Hurricane Katrina devastated the area, he became a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity where his interest in building was sparked. After college, Daniel moved to Milwaukee to be closer to family where he worked in finance for ten years. Before opening DR CASA, Daniel worked on his duplexes and took on full gut renovations. In his free time, Daniel enjoys spending time with his family, playing chess and traveling.
“Renovation for me started like with so many other people – the purchase of our first home a decade ago. When you are a first time home buyer you have literally the universe open up to the endless renovation possibilities that you can tackle. You name it, I did it from easy DIY, like painting and drywall repairs, to kitchens and bathrooms. My first home in Shorewood, was also my first rental property, so I took care of my living space along with my tenants next door. Just like you see the perennials that you planted come out and beautify your property every spring. Every project big or small took all my attention, care and love. It’s funny I didn’t realize it was my passion early on. I can think back as I would rather spend a weekend non stop on a project except to eat or sleep.
Now I tackle managing projects for our clients with the same tenacity. Sometimes burning the midnight oil after putting the kids to bed to make sure a design is ready or the 20+ trades and subcontractors had everything they need on site to keep every project running like a well oiled machine. I love building people’s dreams. Each renovation is, as I see it, an extension of every client. Whether it is them choosing a color, a type of tile or a cabinet wood species. At the end of the day they will forever leave a piece of themselves and their love for their property at each project. It’s awesome to be a part of it and make it all happen. “
